I’m Chris Ragan, and I live right here in Benton.

A while back, something started to bother me. I kept watching big brands with massive advertising budgets crowd out the local business owners who actually know this community. The people who’ve built something here. The ones who show up every day. They were getting overlooked, and honestly, it just didn’t feel right.

So I built Saline Local.

It’s a community website where I introduce local Saline County businesses to the people right in their own backyard, and it’s completely free to be featured. Every business gets a real, dedicated page where neighbors can find out who they are, what they do, and how to reach them. No clutter, no competing ads, no noise.

I keep the site invitation-only because I want every business listed here to be one that people in Saline County would feel genuinely good about supporting and telling their friends about. This isn’t a phone book. It’s a community resource, and it’s built on trust.

Getting featured costs nothing. It always has, and it always will.
