We were two sisters with a 10-year dream of opening a small-batch bakery and cafe. In 2019, that dream became a reality. When it came time to name our restaurant, we chose a name that honored our childhood home. We always referred to our family homes by their color, and the blue house holds a special place in our hearts because our dad built it alongside our oldest brother.
Joy discovered her love for baking in the Blue House and has used the same chocolate chip cookie recipe since she was 10 years old, which we now offer at Blue House Bakery & Cafe. Our heart and purpose are to make every person who walks through our doors feel loved and cared for, just as we felt growing up in the Blue House in Pleasant Plains, AR.

My wife and I were on a road trip and wanted to grab some brunch before heading out. This was an amazing spot! The vibe was great. Coffee was delicious we even ordered some to go 👍
We had the big man bowl and they did not skimp out on the bacon. And we had the two stack with eggs and bacon. Everything tasted great and we would love to come back if we are ever driving through.
Excellent atmosphere and good food. First time here, but cashier provided no direction on where to locate self serve coffee. Quick service otherwise.

A darling spot for breakfast. Sat in the family room with a family group of 7. We were able to talk and enjoy a leisure time together and enjoy great food, creatively served lattes and a chocolate chip biscuit to share round the table as a breakfast dessert.
